Applying to Oakwood

Thank you for your interest in Oakwood School! Selecting the right school is an important process, and Oakwood is committed to making your family’s experience as personal as possible. The application process is all about finding the right fit. To help all of us make this determination, we have designed an application process that is informative and comprehensive.

The best way to learn more about Oakwood is by visiting an Open House event with your family, or attending a parent campus tour during the school day. Elementary and upper school students have the opportunity to visit the campus and shadow with a current Oakwood student. Families can also attend one of our many drama performances or athletic events.

Our admission application is completed online and is required for all new, incoming students. As part of the application process, you will be asked to submit student scores from a standardized test, and your student will take an entrance exam. We will also request information about past and present academic performance and personal interest. Parents of lower school applicants will participate in a conversation with the Lower School Head and Principal. We go out of our way to make the application process hassle-free for prospective students and their families.
