There are many ways to experience Oakwood for the student, parent, and as a family. We encourage several visits to gather different viewpoints.
Campus Tour (Parent Visit)
Parents are invited to explore the School by joining a campus tour to see classes in session. Tours are offered weekly and are conducted by the Head of School, who will share the history and philosophy of Oakwood, along with grade-level specific curriculum. You'll also have the opportunity to meet with our Admissions team to learn more about the application process.
Please note that tours offered during the school day are for parents only as you will visit various classes in session.

Info Session/Preview (Parent Visit)
Parents are invited to attend an Information Session or Preview, which may include a panel discussion, class observation, or talk with key faculty members. Parents will also tour classes in session and see the new Liberal Arts Center and new Athletic Center on our recently expanded 30-acre preschool through grade 12 campus. You'll also have the opportunity to meet with our Admissions team to learn more about the application process.

Open House (Family Visit)
You will have the opportunity to meet students, teachers and parents, review curriculum, watch performances and tour the campus with the help of a student guide. Parents and children are encouraged to attend together.
Open House events are held from 10 a.m. to noon and cover preschool through 12th grade. Feel free to start your visit at any time, however do allow for time to explore our campus and attend mini-performances. We'll also have demos and activities for students in various classrooms.
Pre-registration helps speed up the check-in process, however walk-in registration is also available. To pre-register, visit the Open House webpage.
Shadow at Oakwood (Student Visit)
The shadow visit at Oakwood enables your student to be immersed in our rich academic environment and to meet our teachers and fellow students. It’s important that every student visitor has the opportunity to “picture themselves here”, and we value the opportunity to get to know each visitor on a more personal level.

Athletics & Performing Arts Events
Students and parents are invited to attend upcoming athletic events as well as drama, dance, and music performances. What better way to picture yourself on the court in our new gymnasium, or up on stage in our new Liberal Arts Center theater (or even participating as a tech behind the scenes).
