Shannon Eaton brings over 16 years of experience in elementary education and a deep commitment to fostering a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment for every student. She began her teaching journey in Illinois, where she taught both Kindergarten and First Grade, and is now proudly part of the Oakwood community.

Mrs. Eaton holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Reading Education. She is also certified in S.E.A.L. (Sobrato Early Academic Language), reflecting her dedication to supporting early language development.

A passionate advocate for children’s literature, Mrs. Eaton loves incorporating rich and engaging stories into her classroom to spark imagination and build literacy skills. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, baking, puzzles, attending musicals and plays, and spending quality time with her family!
