Hannah Taylor serves as the drama teacher for Oakwood School's 1st-5th grades and the speech and debate coach for the high school. Before moving to California, Ms. Taylor obtained her Master’s degree in Theatre Education and Theatre for Young Audiences from the University of Hawai'i Manoa. Ms. Taylor is TEFL certified and taught drama and public speaking in Shanghai, China with Enreach Education and Julia Gabriel from 2017 to 2021. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Political Science as well as a minor in music from Concordia University Chicago. Ms. Taylor was a two-time sectional qualifier in IHSA speech in both of her events (HI and HDA) in high school. When she isn't teaching or performing she enjoys spending time with her cat Oscar, baking, swimming, and playing many different instruments.
