Melinda Merten is a 4th grade teacher and the Lower School Language Arts Curriculum Lead at Oakwood School. She has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University and holds a California Multiple Subject Credential. Mrs. Merten joined the Oakwood family in 1999 and has enjoyed being a part of all the growth and development Oakwood has experienced. When she is not in the classroom, she loves hiking, visiting national parks, and traveling to Hawaii. However, her favorite thing of all is spending time with her two grandchildren.
