Nisanti Wilmot has been teaching at Oakwood School since 2015. Her diverse teaching portfolio includes Math, Computer Science, Environmental Science, and Human Geography. Before entering education, she spent 15 years in the software industry, bringing real-world experience into the classroom. In 2025, she received the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Educator Award for her efforts to expand access to Computer Science for underrepresented students. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.
