Gretchen Lee is an Oakwood School 7th-grade Advisor, literature and writing teacher, the tech mentor for the upper school, and specializes in thinking up new middle school electives. Ms. Lee has been teaching at Oakwood for 18 years, and before that, she was a 6th-grade teacher at a private school in San Jose. She enjoys reading (young adult literature and any other book she can lay her hands on) puzzles, and home renovation shows. She also loves all things tech. Ms. Lee attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, was an active member of the National Council of Teachers of English, presented at approximately 10 conferences on varied subjects, and was elected to the position of assistant chair to the NCTE Middle School Steering Committee.
