Christine Shales, Oakwood School's Lower and Middle School Head & Principal, has worked in educational leadership for nineteen years, and at Oakwood School as the Lower School Head & Principal for the last seven years. Prior to becoming a principal and school head, she enjoyed positions as a WASC accreditor, in leadership coaching, and within parks and recreation. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation with an emphasis on youth and teens, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (K-8) from San Francisco State University, and a Master of Public Administration from Notre Dame de Namur.
