Geneva Mintun has been a preschool teacher at Oakwood School since 2017 and has worked in Early Childhood Education for more than 20 years. Geneva holds 23 Early Childhood Education units from San Jose City College and Vanguard University. She also holds an Infant/Toddler Development Certificate and has received training in the Kindermusik ABC Music and Me program. In addition, she has completed professional training focused on childhood anxiety and trauma through the Institute of Child Psychology. Geneva is passionate about continuing her professional growth and regularly participates in teacher development and continuing education opportunities to stay current, refreshed, and inspired in the Early Education field. Outside the classroom, Geneva enjoys gardening, camping, reading, barbeques, and spending quality time with her family, including her beloved dogs, Lexy and Mojo.
