Adam Hubbard holds the position of Visual Arts Chair at Oakwood School, where he imparts his expertise to students in grades 6-12 across varying skill levels: beginning, intermediate, and Advanced Placement. Adam has been an integral part of Oakwood since 2020 and brings a rich history of teaching Visual Art since 1991. Employing a combination of instructional techniques, including film, video, and interactive classroom demonstrations, Adam elevates the students' experience in the realm of visual arts.

Adam has ventured through diverse environments, living, teaching, and exploring different cultures. Notably, he spent nearly seven years alongside his family in the Himalayan mountains of India, further enriching his artistic and educational perspectives. Growing up in Santa Monica, his artistic inspiration was nurtured by the ocean, skateboarding, and the vibrant Venice art scene.

Adam Hubbard is not only a dedicated educator but also a practiced professional artist. He earned his undergraduate degree from the esteemed California College of Arts and Crafts and pursued his graduate studies at the University of Southern California. His artistic identity as a figurative artist is showcased through his mastery of various media, such as ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, print-making, and photography.
