Beekeeper Mr. Ed Sattler Visits Oakwood School Kindergarten

Oakwood School kindergarten students received a visit from our friendly neighborhood beekeeper, Mr. Ed Sattler, at the end of the school year. Mr. Sattler has been a member of our Oakwood family for many years, his daughter attending Oakwood from Preschool through High School. Mr. Sattler discussed many aspects of beekeeping and how honey is produced. His presentation included many exciting and colorful pictures and provided many real-life items used to tend and care for his bees. The students thoroughly enjoyed his presentation and were even given a unique bee bracelet!
