A Campus Full of Love: 2026 Grandparents' & Special Friends' Day

Oakwood School was filled with joy last Friday as students welcomed more than 400 grandparents and special friends to campus for one of the school's most beloved traditions. From the moment guests arrived, the energy was unmistakable—students beaming with pride as they guided their visitors through classrooms, shared poems, explored enrichment spaces, and teamed up for a lively scavenger hunt. Laughter echoed across campus as memories were made over refreshments, photo ops, and the simple magic of spending the day together. It was a beautiful reminder of the strong connections and sense of belonging that make Oakwood so special. The day wrapped up with the Lower School music concerts, where students lit up the stage and left the audience smiling from ear to ear. A huge thank you to the incredible volunteers who helped make the day feel so seamless and welcoming—the school is so grateful for their support.
