A Legacy of Love: Annual Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day Celebration!

On Friday, April 18, Oakwood School proudly welcomed a record-breaking number of guests to campus for its annual Lower School Grandparents and Special Friends Day. The day was filled with joy and connection as students shared their classrooms, projects, and favorite campus spots with their guests. From check-in to the heartwarming closing concerts, the energy on campus was vibrant and full of pride.

Highlights of the day included classroom visits, a beautifully curated art show, interactive experiences in the science, library, and tech spaces, and joyful performances that showcased the spirit and talent of Oakwood students. Thoughtful planning, cheerful volunteers, and special touches—such as golf cart rides and commemorative “Someone at Oakwood Loves Me” souvenirs—helped make the day seamless and memorable.
