Author Ken Christopher Delights First Grade Students with Elephant Garlic Halloween

Special guest Ken Christopher recently visited the library to read his book Elephant Garlic Halloween to Oakwood School's 1st grade students. They had the opportunity to ask him questions about writing, publishing, and illustrating a book. At the end of the visit, Ken generously gifted each student a copy of his book and a stuffed animal featured in the story. We are so appreciative to Ken Christopher and his team from Christopher Ranch for visiting Oakwood and introducing the students to his wonderful picture book!
