Boys Volleyball Team Having Strong Season

The Oakwood School Hawks Boys Volleyball team continued its strong season with an impressive victory over Pajaro Valley on April 20, improving their record to 6–3. Despite a slow start, the Hawks quickly settled in and found their rhythm, showing resilience and composure throughout the match. From the service line, junior Jeremy Pedler led the way with 11 serves and 4 aces, giving Oakwood crucial momentum. Offensively, senior Luke Hansotte, senior Dhruvil Patel, and junior Rai Fleizach each recorded 6 kills, powering a balanced attack that kept constant pressure on Pajaro Valley’s defense. This consistent production allowed the Hawks to stay in control, even during brief moments of inconsistency. Beyond the stats, Oakwood’s communication and teamwork stood out, with players moving cohesively and supporting each other on every play. Their ability to regroup and build momentum after early struggles highlighted their mental toughness.
