Boys Varsity Volleyball Earns Exciting Four-Set Win Over Watsonville

On Monday, March 24, the Oakwood High School Boys Varsity Volleyball team brought the energy on home court, earning an exciting win over Watsonville High School in a four-set match that showcased the team's growing chemistry and competitive spirit.

A pivotal moment came in the second set when Nathan Emata caught fire, rattling off an incredible run of 10 consecutive serves that gave Oakwood a commanding lead and shifted the momentum decisively in their favor. The crowd felt it, the bench felt it, and Watsonville couldn't recover.

Offensively, Dhruvil Patel led the charge with an impressive 13 kills, keeping consistent pressure on the Watsonville defense throughout the match. Jeremy Pedler and Rai Fleizach each added 5 kills of their own, contributing to an attack that proved relentless from start to finish.
