California County Fair: Learning, Creativity, and Discovery

Oakwood School 4th grade students recently brought California to life through a vibrant County Fair highlighting the state's 58 counties. After weeks of research, students proudly presented projects exploring each county's unique economy, population, Native American tribes, famous residents, landmarks, geographic features, and more.
The fair featured a wide variety of creative presentations, including student-produced newscasts, detailed dioramas, informative videos, colorful posters, and interactive displays. Visitors learned about California's diverse regions, from coastal communities and fertile agricultural valleys to mountain ranges and desert landscapes.
Parents and 2nd grade buddies toured the exhibits, asking questions and celebrating the students' hard work and knowledge.
