Celebration of Middle School Growth and Achievement

Oakwood Middle School recognized the hard work, growth, and achievements of its students during the annual Middle School Awards Assembly, held on the last day of school. Families, faculty, and peers gathered to celebrate students’ academic accomplishments, leadership, creativity, and character. The ceremony reflected the spirit of the middle school community and highlighted the many ways Oakwood students have made this year memorable.

The morning wrapped up with one of the most anticipated traditions of the school year: the 8th Grade vs. Faculty volleyball game. In a fun and lively matchup, cheers echoed through the gym as the faculty team edged out the 8th graders for the win. Despite the competitive energy on the court, the event was all smiles—filled with laughter, team spirit, and a true sense of Oakwood camaraderie.
