Class of 2027 Shines in National Merit Scholarship Program

Seven members of Oakwood High School's Class of 2027 recently earned commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Program by earning scores on the 2025 PSAT that ranked among the top 50,000 out of approximately 1.3 million students who took the test. Those students are Porter Banks, Zoe Loudenslager, Brendan Lyle, Jeremy Pedler, Kate Praserthdam, Claudia Read, and Olivia Wong.

Moreover, senior Laura Nita was named one of only 16,000 National Merit Semifinalists for her exceptional performance on that same PSAT.
