Cross Country Runners End Season Strong at Palo Corona for the PCAL Championships
Oakwood Cross Country had an amazing race at Palo Corona for the PCAL Championships. This is the official end of the season for most of the athletes, and it was a great way to conclude the season.
Boys Varsity finished 2nd overall as a team, with Dillon Hall finishing 4th overall, Arnav Praveen finishing 5th overall, and both getting their individual times that qualified them for CCS next week at Crystal Springs. They also received award patches for finishing in the top 9.
Girls Varsity did not have a team score; however, they did really well individually: Gabriela Campbell finished 3rd overall, Sofia Hunt finished 5th overall, and Agnes Williams finished 9th overall. All three got award patches for finishing in the top 9!
Congratulations to the entire Oakwood Cross Country team for a great season!
