Eighth Grade and Kinder Buddies!

Oakwood Middle School 8th grade students recently visited their kindergarten buddies for the first time, building connections through games, shared activities, and reading. Students worked together in small groups, practicing teamwork while forming new friendships. During storytime, the eighth grade students read aloud to their buddies, creating an engaging atmosphere of curiosity and discovery. The visit marked the beginning of an ongoing mentorship that both grades look forward to continuing throughout the year.
