Oakwood Middle School Celebrates 8th Grade Promotion

On May 29, Oakwood Middle School honored its 8th grade students in a promotion ceremony, celebrating their achievements and growth. Student speakers Austin B., Kaia W., Miriam S., and Aarav R. reflected on their middle school experiences, sharing meaningful memories and expressing gratitude for the friendships and lessons that shaped their journey. Cori Stevenson, middle school teacher and 8th grade advisor, delivered a special tribute honoring the promoting students. Her remarks highlighted the unique qualities of the class and the lasting impact they made on the Oakwood community.
