First Grade's Sparkling Debut in 'Cookies! The Musical'

Oakwood School 1st grade students put on their very first drama enrichment musical last week. Mrs. Sanchez's class performed on April 30th and Mrs. Schulz class performed on May 2nd. So many students conquered their stage fright, nerves, and channeled their excitement into their characters to put on a fantastic production of Cookies! The Musical. For many students this was their first time performing on stage in front of a large audience but you would never know as they were so expressive and confident on stage. After the show they got to sample many of the types of cookies they portrayed on stage provided by 1st grade parents and got a taste of acting, literally. Congratulations on all your success 1st Grade!
