Fund Run Fuels Exciting New Upgrades to Oakwood Athletic Center

Oakwood School's Athletic Center received several exciting upgrades over the summer, designed to enhance the experience for students, families, athletes, and guests.

The most significant improvement was the addition of three large screens, creating new opportunities to engage and inform audiences during school assemblies, special events, and athletic competitions. The facility was also equipped with its first dedicated sound system, further enhancing the experience for everyone attending events in the Athletic Center.

During games, the screens will showcase scores, statistics, and other in-game information, helping celebrate student-athletes and bring even more energy to the game-day experience.

These enhancements, along with many other projects completed over the summer, were made possible by the tremendous fundraising efforts of the Oakwood community during last year's record-breaking Fund Run campaign. Oakwood is incredibly grateful to everyone whose generosity and participation helped transform the Athletic Center into a more dynamic and versatile gathering place for the entire school community. Sincere thanks also go to the Facilities team for expertly overseeing this large-scale project from start to finish and helping bring these exciting improvements to life.
