Fund Run Makes History—Together We Soared!

Friday’s Fund Run was everything Oakwood School loves about its community—pure joy, school spirit, and a whole lot of fun. Students ran, jumped, climbed, quad-stepped, and bounced their way across campus with smiles from ear to ear. The energy was contagious, and the Oakwood spirit was on full display.

And today, the excitement continues with the best news of all—Oakwood Made History! Thanks to the generosity and participation of Oakwood families, the school not only reached its goal but surpassed it. Together, the community raised $200,000 through this year’s student-led Fund Run, unlocking an additional $50,000 from generous Oakwood families through the Together We Soar Challenge.

That brings the grand total to $251,135.55, officially making this the most successful Fund Run in Oakwood’s 28-year history. The event also achieved an impressive 84% overall student participation rate. Congratulations to the grades that reached 100% participation—your foam party celebration awaits!

Oakwood will use this wonderful momentum from the Fund Run, which serves as the official launch of the Annual Fund Campaign, to continue gathering support from families and the greater community. This includes the exciting introduction of the brand-new Community Partners Program.
