Kindergarten Students Meet their Big Buddies

Oakwood School kindergarten and 3rd grade students were excited to meet their Big and Little Buddies recently! In preparation for the visit, 3rd grade students visited the library to select the perfect fall- or Halloween-themed book to share. Mrs. B provided helpful tips on how to deliver an engaging read-aloud, and students practiced bringing their stories to life. During the visit, Big Buddies shared their books, while Little Buddies shared their favorite classroom activities. Everyone enjoyed getting to know one another and is looking forward to many more special moments together throughout the year
