Oakwood School kindergarten students welcomed St. Patrick’s Day with a special project—designing and building leprechaun traps at home with their families. When they arrived at school, they discovered an unexpected challenge: the doors to Rooms 25 and 26 were mysteriously locked. Their luck quickly turned when they found a lost pair of keys. Upon unlocking the doors, they stepped into a scene of festive mischief—gold coins scattered across the room, tiny footprints on the floor, traces of glitter, and strands of green tape and yarn. A note from the elusive leprechauns confirmed they had once again slipped away. Later, students discovered magic leprechaun rocks and excitedly washed them off, watching in amazement as a bubbling reaction revealed hidden surprises. Throughout the day, they took turns presenting their creative traps, sharing in the excitement and wonder of their St. Patrick’s Day adventure.
