Lower School Students Conclude the Academic Year with Unforgettable Memories

Oakwood School’s campus buzzed with excitement as students from preschool through 5th grade marked the close of the academic year with a “Blast of Fun” last-day-of-school celebration. The event featured a mix of lively games, hands-on crafts, and shared reflections that honored the friendships and learning from the past year. The highlight of the day was the Lower School Promotion Ceremony, where each class was recognized and students had the opportunity to meet their teachers for the year ahead. Cheers erupted later during the much-anticipated volleyball game, as 8th grade students were narrowly defeated by the faculty in a spirited match. From start to finish, the day reflected the heart of the Oakwood community—growth, connection, and a sense of fun.
