Oakwood 1st Grade Students Perform Swimmingly!

Oakwood School 1st grade students made a big splash on stage with their production of Go Fish! Mrs. Sanchez's class performed on April 28 and Mrs. Schulz's class followed on April 30, transforming the Oakwood Theatre into a vibrant underwater world complete with dazzling costumes, hilarious one-liners, and impressive singing and dancing.
The show delivered a heartwarming message that differences are what make us special and that friendship matters, brought to life by an enthusiastic cast of sharks, fish, and sea creatures. For most students, it was their very first time performing in a musical, and they rose to the occasion beautifully, filling the stage with confidence, energy, and contagious joy.
The audiences left smiling from ear to ear.
