Oakwood School Alumni Roman Moskalenko '22 Earns Prestigious Ukrainian Medal
Oakwood School Alumni Roman Moskalenko '22 was awarded the highly prestigious medal For Sacrifice and Love for Ukraine. Typically given to soldiers in the Ukrainian army for acts of heroism, Roman received the medal from The Orthodox Church of Ukraine in March 2023 — not for having served in combat, but for his generous entrepreneurial work creating a new app that helps people learn Ukrainian.
