High School Oakwood Games: Artistic Triumphs and Grade-Level Showdowns!
The second Oakwood Games of the school year was a memorable occasion. The initial competition, the entertaining sponge and bucket game, witnessed the sophomores emerging victorious.
In a creative twist, each Advisory selected an animal from a random draw and collaborated to illustrate their chosen mascot on a poster board. This group effort saw each member of the Advisory contributing to a single segment of the artwork, passing the marker as soon as they lifted it from the poster. After a brisk 10 minutes of artistic teamwork, the students proudly presented their mascots to a panel of discerning faculty judges. The winning mascot posters, which earned crucial points for their respective Advisories, included the Panda from Mr. Ramsey's Advisory, the Chicken from Mr. Hammerbeck's Advisory, and the Capybara from Ms. Gastelum's Advisory, securing points for the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades, respectively.
Tenth grade currently leads the leaderboard in the Oakwood Games. Anticipation is building for the next exciting game scheduled for October.
