Oakwood High School Boys Varsity Tennis Sweeps Palma in Match
The Oakwood High School Boys Varsity Tennis team had a great match against Palma, even with both teams only having six players available. The match was modified to have four singles and one doubles game, and Oakwood's singles players proved to be too strong for Palma. All four singles players won with significant leads!
Aarush Admala, playing as the first singles, had an impressive win with a score of 6-0, 6-0. Arnav Praveen, playing in the second position, won 6-1, 6-2, while Max Pham, in the third position, won 6-0, 6-1. Marko Milentijevic, playing in the fourth singles position, won 6-0, 6-1. Oakwood's #1 doubles team, Vlad Zaitsau, and Frank King, lost to their opponents with a score of 6-3, 6-3, but put up a good fight for their first time out.
The team's performance was commendable, and hopefully, they will continue the momentum in their upcoming match against York on Friday. Oakwood School's Boys' Varsity Tennis team has shown great determination and skill, and we look forward to seeing what else they have in store for the rest of the season.
