Oakwood High School Students Celebrate Diwali

This week Oakwood High School celebrated Diwali! The high school student body was excited to celebrate the holiday with faculty, as well as each other.

Mysha Bhatti, Sunjana Banwait, and the South Asian Student Association club orchestrated a dazzling Diwali celebration with the support of fellow students, faculty members, and parent volunteers. The event showcased an array of decorations, culinary delights, and traditional music, creating a memorable and culturally rich experience for all students.

Oakwood believes that it is important for our students to learn about all cultures, and supports students sharing the traditions that are important to them. We are proud that this event was able to provide such an opportunity for them.
