The Oakwood School community is buzzing with excitement as they eagerly await the Oakwood High School's production of "Beauty and the Beast, the Broadway Musical." Many students and members of the Oakwood community have been working diligently behind the scenes to make this show a success. Not only are student actors rehearsing their lines and cues, but the set design is an integral part of the storytelling.

Set construction and painting have been underway for weeks, and students have been putting their creativity to the test. They have spent countless hours in the theater, hanging out with friends and bringing their vision to life. Roman Marquez, a sophomore at Oakwood High School, shared his thoughts on the experience, saying, "It's been great to hang out with friends and express our creativity through set construction and painting. It's great to think that we'll be able to see this on the big stage really soon."

Last Friday, a few cast members were spotted handing out flyers to promote the musical. Belle, Beast, Gaston, Lumiere, Fefou, and his crony spoke with students, signed autographs, and stopped for photos. Lumiere used the opportunity to be helpful and direct traffic at the main crosswalk!

The Oakwood High School production of "Beauty and the Beast, the Broadway Musical" is sure to be a hit. With talented student actors and a stunning set design, audiences are in for a real treat.
