Oakwood Hosts Cub Scout Pack 700 Annual Pinewood Derby

Cub Scout Pack 700 held its annual Pinewood Derby at the Oakwood School Barn this year. The event featured hand-crafted, unpowered wooden cars built by the Cub Scouts and raced in a spirit of friendly competition.
Oakwood 5th grade student and Pack member Sharva Sunil Gangatkar, participated in the derby and earned first place for the fastest car in his group, received recognition for creative design, and placed second overall in the pack. Well done to Sharva and all of the participating scouts!
