Oakwood Mathletes Compete at State-Level Competition

Six Oakwood Middle School students—Sam S, Logan R, Erik L, Jay H, Aditya S, and Albert Z—competed in the MathCounts Northern California State Competition, facing top middle school math talent. They earned their spot with strong performances at the Coyote Valley Chapter MathCounts Competition, where they were both the top team and the top individual scorers. Coaches Cori Stevenson and Michael Lyle joined them for the event.
The state competition was intense, but the team rose to the challenge, solving complex problems and supporting each other throughout the day. Congratulations to all for their hard work, teamwork, and impressive achievement!
