Oakwood Middle School 8th Grade Boys' Basketball Team Takes the Season by Storm with 6-2 Record
Oakwood Middle School 8th grade boys basketball team has been on fire this season, with a remarkable record of 6-2, winning every game they have played so far! This season has been an incredible journey for the boys, and they have proven their mettle on the court. They started the season with a bit of a rocky start, losing to Charter 40-45. But the boys didn't let that discourage them, and they came back with a vengeance to win their next game against JAMM with a score of 47-20.
Their next game was a real show of strength when they dominated San Martín Gwinn with a score of 51-6. They continued their impressive run with a win against Gilroy Prep with a score of 56-6. They proved that this was no fluke and beat them again with a score of 48-18 in their next encounter. The boys faced Charter for the second time, and although they lost by eight points, the score of 42-50 was a massive improvement compared to their previous encounter.
The boys' hard work and dedication paid off when they went on to win their biggest game of the season, beating the first-place Charter with a score of 50-31. They carried this momentum into their last game of the season, winning with a score of 58-46 against JAMM.
This season has been a remarkable journey for the 8th grade boys, who have shown immense growth and improvement from the start of the season to the end. Every player on the team has contributed to their success, and their ball movement and teamwork have been truly beautiful to watch.
