Oakwood Rolls Out the Welcome Mat for New Families

Oakwood School recently rolled out the welcome mat for its newest community members at two festive New Student Welcome events — the Lower School gathering on May 11 and the Upper School gathering on May 12. Both evenings drew a wonderful turnout of new and re-enrolling rising families, who mingled, made new connections, and celebrated their decision to join Oakwood. Incoming families had the chance to meet current students and parents, who generously shared stories about their own Oakwood experiences and helped answer questions about life in each division. Oakwood looks forward to welcoming these families back in August, and is deeply grateful to the many volunteer parents and students whose time and enthusiasm made both events such a success.
