Oakwood School Joins Morgan Hill in Celebrating Freedom Fest

Oakwood School was honored to take part in Morgan Hill's annual 4th of July Freedom Fest, joining the community in celebrating Independence Day through music, tradition, and hometown pride.

As a proud sponsor of the Patriotic Sing on July 3, Oakwood helped bring the community together for an evening of song and celebration ahead of the holiday.

Oakwood's connection to the celebration did not end there. The next day, the Oakwood Banner made an appearance at the Classic Car Cruise and Show, proudly displayed on a beautiful vintage car owned by the Ellis family. Classic car enthusiasts and spectators lining the route got a firsthand look at both a piece of automotive history and Oakwood's community spirit, rolling side by side through the heart of the celebration.

Freedom Fest continues to be one of Morgan Hill's most beloved annual traditions, bringing residents together to honor the Fourth of July through community spirit. Oakwood is especially proud of the many students and community members who volunteered throughout the event, including Brendan Lyle, who was named Volunteer of the Year. Congratulations also go to parent Matthew Stein, who serves as President of the Freedom Fest Board, on a successful event. Oakwood extends its thanks to the Freedom Fest organizers, the Ellis family, and everyone who came out to celebrate.
