Oakwood School Spirit Week and Assembly
Last week, Oakwood School was alive with excitement during Spirit Week, a vibrant celebration that united the entire community.
The festivities kicked off on Monday with Pajama Day, where students in preschool through 12th grade lounged in their coziest sleepwear. Tuesday brought Twin Day for the middle school and Fan Day for the high school and lower school, as students proudly showcased their matching outfits and team spirit. Wednesday added a humorous twist with Adam Sandler Day in the high school and Teacher-Student Swap Day in the middle school, encouraging creative attire and playful role reversals. Lower school students proudly displayed their Oakwood spirit, dressed in old spirit shirts, green and white clothing, and other spirit store attire. Thursday transported upper school students back in time with Decades Day, featuring iconic styles from various eras, while the lower school students came to school in their craziest socks!
The week culminated in a lively Spirit Assembly on Friday, uniting students, faculty, and families for a memorable celebration of the creativity and camaraderie that made this year's Spirit Week truly unforgettable. This all-school event highlighted our school spirit and showcased the talent and enthusiasm of everyone involved. It was a fantastic way to end the week on a high note!
