Oakwood Sends Off the Class of 2026 in Style

Oakwood High School's Class of 2026 crossed the stage on May 22 as family, friends, and faculty came together to celebrate 31 seniors and the journeys that brought them to this moment.
Dr. Cameron Helvey opened the ceremony with a warm welcome, and Michelle Helvey introduced faculty speaker Lukas Vinkhauzen, whose remarks painted a vivid picture of the Class of 2026. Student speakers Kingston Call, Elizabeth Williams, Kenny Jeudy Bourdeau, and Stephanie Chen each shared personal reflections on their Oakwood experience.
The ceremony was filled with pride and emotion as each graduate walked the stage and received a warm send-off from the Oakwood community. It was a fitting close to their high school years and the beginning of exciting new chapters.
