Oakwood High School seniors Belle Anderson and Kenny Jeudy Bourdeau, junior Alex Kim, and freshman Nathan Emata competed online in the final tournament of the fall semester, the Regent Legacy Invitational, held December 13–14.

On Saturday, Kenny and Belle represented Oakwood in Open Parliamentary Debate, going toe-to-toe with teams across six preliminary rounds. They finished the day with a 3–3 record and earned an impressive 9th-place overall ranking.

On Sunday, Alex competed in Open SPAR (Spontaneous Argumentation), delivering a standout performance in Round 3, where he earned the top rank in his room.

Also competing on Sunday, Nathan participated in Novice Informative Speaking with his speech on Haute Couture fashion. Nathan scored high enough across all three preliminary rounds to advance to finals, ultimately securing 5th place and closing out a strong first-semester showing for Oakwood’s Speech and Debate team.
