Oakwood Speech Student Sees Success at Championship Tournament

Oakwood High School rising junior Sienna Teel and rising sophomore Nathan Emata competed in the National Online Forensics (NOF) Asynchronous Championship Tournament from June 8 to June 15.
Sienna performed her piece "Ice Cream for Dinner" in High School Drama. Nathan competed in High School Mixed Platform with his speech "Walk, Walk, Fashion Baby!" The Mixed Platform event had the largest pool of competitors of any event in the tournament.
Nathan's scores across his three preliminary rounds were strong enough to place him in the top six, advancing him to the finals. He finished in a tied 3rd place and ended the season as a 3rd Place NOF Champion.
