During the holiday season, Oakwood School 2nd grade students had the opportunity to learn about Hanukkah through a special visit from Dr. Julie Pak, one of the school’s wonderful parents. Dr. Pak introduced the students to her family tradition by teaching them how to play with dreidels and sharing a heartwarming Hanukkah story. She also brought a menorah to the classroom, explaining its significance and the meaning behind its nine candles. To make the experience even more delightful, Dr. Pak provided the students with jelly donuts and sent them home with chocolate gold coins as a keepsake. The visit was both educational and enjoyable, creating lasting memories for the students.
