Smiles and School Spirit Mark Oakwood’s First Day

Oakwood's campus buzzed back to life on Thursday, August 20, as middle and high school students returned to their classrooms to kick off the 2026–2027 school year. Students reconnected with classmates and teachers, catching up on summer adventures before settling into the rhythm of a new academic year.

Meanwhile, the lower school held its beloved kick-off celebration, welcoming families onto campus for a morning of joyful traditions. Children proudly dropped off their school supplies, cooled down with refreshing treats, and exchanged warm hugs with the teachers who would guide them through the year ahead. Out front, Thunder, Oakwood's beloved mascot, greeted families for photos, adding an extra dose of school spirit to the festivities.
