Spring Festival Traditions: A Student Presentation for Faculty and Staff

Spring Festival is the most important celebration for the Chinese as well as other Asian communities. Oakwood High School junior Nick Nie attended the January All-Staff meeting and described how his family celebrates coming together, cooking and eating special foods, fireworks and the tradition of red envelopes. He also talked about the upcoming Oakwood Spring Festival celebration at 12pm on Tuesday February 10, where our international students and Asian Americans students host a lunch time party with samples of delicious food, drink, music, culture and games.
