Congratulations to Oakwood High School sophomores enrolled in AP Computer Science Principles (AP CSP)—Anais Cannieux, Carl-Philip Arnold, and Abhinav Praveen—who were recognized by Carnegie Mellon University as part of the CMU CS Academy Fall 2025 Creative Task Challenge. Anais earned first place in AP CSP Unit 3, Carl-Philip earned first place in AP CSP Unit 2, and Abhinav earned second place in AP CSP Unit 2.

All three projects were coded in Python using CMU’s custom graphics package and demonstrated both strong technical skill and creativity. Anais’s project allowed users to design a custom flower bouquet, Carl-Philip’s project enabled users to create a custom car, and Abhinav’s project was inspired by the functionality of MS Paint. Oakwood School is proud of these students and their impressive accomplishments.
