Student Talent Shines at Winter Music Showcase

The Oakwood High School Winter Music Showcase was a vibrant celebration of student talent and creativity, featuring performances from a variety of music programs, including the vocal ensemble, songwriting class/club, guitar performance class, and jazz ensemble. Highlights of the evening included original songs by students Hana Cohen, Benjamin Tarne, Kelly Kobata, and Ava Lowe, who impressed the audience with their heartfelt performances. The event also welcomed special guests, the middle school Rock Rap Pop Group, who added an exciting energy to the evening with their dynamic performance. Directed by Oakwood Musical Director Sam Sotelo, the showcase demonstrated the school’s dedication to nurturing artistic expression, offering a platform for students to share their musical passions and skills!
