Sweet Connections Bring Kinder and 8th Grade Buddies Together

Oakwood School Kindergarten classes partnered with their 8th grade buddies to create heart-shaped animal valentines filled with color, creativity, and smiles. The older students patiently guided their buddies through cutting, gluing, and decorating, while the Kindergarten students contributed big ideas and even bigger enthusiasm. The room buzzed with laughter and teamwork as hearts transformed into penguins, owls, cats, and more.
The simple craft made a meaningful impact and served as a reminder that community, kindness, and creativity are at the heart of Oakwood School.
