TOY Club Visits Valley Pines Assisted Living

Over Christmas break, the Oakwood High School TOY club (Think Of You), accompanied by Glee club, visited Valley Pines Senior Assisted Living to bring them some Christmas cheer. They entertained members of the home by singing Christmas carols and other assorted songs, along with instrumental pieces. The TOY Club also made and shared cards with the seniors to try to brighten their day. The seniors who attended the event loved the music, and have asked the TOY club to return again. It was a great experience for the TOY club, and they hope to continue bringing this type of joy to other local senior homes.
